+ Are you licensed?

Yes, Four Seasons Landscaping, LLC is a fully licensed and insured company that provides complete landscaping services to both commercial and residential customers.

+ Why should I hire a Landscaper if I can do the work myself?

There could be many factors that make hiring a landscaper the right choice for you and your property. A trained professional offers the knowledge and experience that comes with years of learning and practice within the industry and can guide you in making cost-efficient, best practice choices throughout your project. Whoever you hire should be someone you trust and enjoy working with.

+ What kind of clients do you work for?

We enjoy working for both residential and commercial clients. We provide installation and maintenance services for both residential and commercial projects as well as design services for residential projects.

+ How much does landscaping cost?

Like any service, landscaping costs can range depending on:

  • The scope of work
  • The materials used
  • The size of the area you wish to landscape
  • Site-specific factors

If you have a budget in mind, be upfront with your landscaper. They can advise you on how best to use your budget to achieve the final result you want.

+ Do you charge landscape design fees? How do I determine if I need a landscape design?

Yes, we do charge design fees when a landscape design is requested or needed for a project. These fees can vary based on the complexity of your project. You need a landscape design if:

  • You have general ideas for your outdoor space but need professional advice to make it a reality
  • You want a unique, totally customized design for your space that fits your needs and wants while considering the other factors on a site
  • You want to minimize future problems regarding maintenance or pests and need professional guidance to anticipate and circumvent issues that could arise.
+ How does your installation schedule work?

Our installation schedule is based on a first come, first served system. We require a signed proposal and deposit check (30%) to add you to our schedule. Because we work outdoors in the elements, weather is not always our best friend! No crew can work in poor weather or wet conditions that follow rainy weather. We appreciate your patience so that we can give your project our full attention when its time for installation!

+ How does your maintenance schedule work? Is there room for flexibility?

Our maintenance schedules are tailored to fit the needs of your property and your lifestyle as much as possible. In general, we schedule mowing for your property every week to two weeks to maintain a healthy lawn. If we are unable to work due to weather, we will most often schedule your mowing and maintenance appointment for the following business day.

+ Do you warranty your work?

Four Seasons Landscaping does warranty our materials and labor with a few exceptions.

A one-year warranty is included on:

  • Landscaping
  • Irrigation
  • Landscape lighting
  • Grading
  • Hardscapes
  • Drainage

Exceptions include seed and straw materials and sod materials and any plants installed without an irrigation system in place.

+ Do you winterize and restart irrigation systems?

Yes, please call to schedule an appointment! This service is included on our maintenance contracts. We winterize your system before the first freeze in the fall and restart after the final freeze in the spring.

+ What kind of irrigation products do you install?

We use mostly Hunter irrigation systems and supplies on new irrigation installation projects but can work with many brands.

+ What do I do if I have an irrigation problem or a leak? How do I know if I have an irrigation problem or a leak?

If you have a problem with or a leak in your irrigation system, call our office as soon as possible so that we can send a representative to locate and repair the problem. Symptoms may include:

  • Brown or dying leaves
  • Plant problems isolated to one area of your landscape
  • Patches or spots in your lawn
  • Areas in your yard that stay saturated even when it has not rained

These problems can be tough to diagnose and rely on many factors. Please reach out if you have questions.

+ Do you provide Backflow/RP Testing? What is a Backflow Preventer/RP? What is Backflow/RP Testing?

Yes, Four Seasons can provide Backflow Preventer testing services. A Backflow Preventer or RP (Reduced Pressure Zone Device) is a device on your irrigation system (typically installed near the water meter) that prevents any contaminated water within your irrigation system from flowing backwards into the potable city water supply. Backflow Preventers are required for all irrigation systems. Backflow Testing is required by some, but not all city governments, as a safety measure. You will be notified via mail by your local city government if you are required to perform this test. The testing simply ensures that your Backflow Preventer is operating properly.
